Third Annual RORAZ Happy Hour Friday, June 20th, 2008

The third RORAZ Happy Hour Celebration at the 31st Annual Summer (AZ Chapter, American Academy of Pediatrics) Sedona Pediatric Conference, Pediatrics in the Red Rocks will be held Friday, June 20th, 2008 from 5pm to 7pm. This year, Salina Bookshelf is our event Sponsor and will host award winning author Dr. Nancy Flood as she reads from her recent best selling  2007 children’s book, The Navajo Year, Walk Through Many Seasons, which was featured in the National Education Association’s Read Across America’s 2008 Resource Calendar. RORAZ Fifth Annual Fall Meeting Held Monday, November 5th, 2007

Once again the RORAZ Annual Fall Meeting held at the Flinn Foundation was a roaring success.  Dr. Barry Zuckerman, Founder and CEO of Reach Out and Read National Center as keynote presenter spoke to to a full house of ROR providers and supporters.  

 

The RORAZ 2007 Early Literacy Leader of the Year Award given to Representative Chad Campbell

Reach Out and Read Arizona announced on November 5th, 2007 at the RORAZ Fifh Annual Fall Meeting that Rep. Chad Campbell was the recipient of the 2007 RORAZ Early Literacy Leader of the Year Award in recognition of his commitment to improving early literacy for Arizona’s children.
